GAYATRI WITHOUT SAI - Sanctimony or Sacrilege?

"...choose wisely between Madhusudan Gayatri and Sai Gayatri because it could become the final choice. Chanting Madhusudan Gayatri will directly mock the Sai Gayatri which describes and personifies Swami. With the modification of Sai Gayatri from 'may Sai Enlighten our intellect ' to 'may Madhusudan enlighten our intellect', the 'Moola Mantra' or the 'Root Mantra' of the The Lord of Puttaparthi has been desecrated, defaced and damned by the Devil we all know so very well. I have always shouted from the roof top to all I could that this is no ordinary devil. This is The Devil. Proof? A Mantra approved by Swami for Himself and His Splendor, chanted by millions over the years in His Presence , in our Homes and Hearts has been robbed off the validity of the very word 'Sai'...The Devil has ousted God from His own Mantra." - Chiran Basnet
This Gurupurnima we must all count our blessings. I thank our Guru and Swami that He has lovingly held us in His arms and not allowed our monkey minds to go astray.
'Thank you Swami for holding us and bringing us to Your sacred mandir where the magnificent Sai Gayatri reverberates daily in the mellifluous voice of brother Ravi Kumar, your very dear one'.
Life goes on elsewhere where one Mr. Tappoo has vandalized and violated this sacred Sai Gayatri in the most deplorable manner! And if that isn't painful enough the fact that hundreds of innocent children are now required to chant this vandalized version and forgo the original Sai Gayatri under Madhusudan Naidu's watchful eyes reminds me of how Hiranyakashyapu made his own mantra 'Om Namo Hiranyaya Namah' to counter 'Om Namo Narayanaya'.
I am trying hard to understand their logic of tampering with the Sai Gayatri. I have been trying to understand the strange power configuration in all this subtle drama which now ends with Madhu being declared as Sadguru and Sai Himself. Who is the real force here? Is it Sai that occupies the emptied Madhu? Or the very holy emptied body of Madhu ? Or the holy body of Madhu which has Sai inside?
Then the questions arise, will Sai not be able to enlighten if He doesn't possess Madhu? Does Sai not have an existence outside of Madhu?
So if someone who has never heard of Madhu but loves Sai chants the Sai Gayatri, is the mantra bereft of any benefits because the person only prays to the Spirit of Sai and not the body of Madhu that holds the Spirit of Sai? What are they insinuating? That Sai must be prayed to only with the image of Madhu's body because the Spirit of Sai is not good enough without the pious emptied and now possessed body of Madhu?
Then my mind begins to wonder about some other things. If both Swami and Madhu are now one, why do they have two thrones on the dais ? I find it hilarious that they don't notice that the presence of two thrones invalidates their claim that Madhu is Sai Himself now. They never fail to entertain with what they claim and how they conduct . Narasimha Murthy reads a long Ramayana to tell the world how the the light outside has become one with the light itself. Courtesy? Madhu perhaps being the only person to be able to carry the burden of the cross since Jesus Christ?
But they utterly give up this claim with two thrones side by side hence proving that the duality very much exists. The duality is further accentuated by those Golden and Silver thrones. Narasimha Murthy says that the Golden chair is dedicated to the beautiful memories of Sai. But why must the very much present Sai refuse to sit on the throne honoring his own memory? What a charade!
The only positive I find from the story of two thrones is that this Madhu still has some respect left for Swami and actually is the one honoring Swami's memory by not installing his absurd drama all the way up to Swami's throne. That memory and respect will erase eventually and he may be seen loitering towards Swami's chair anyways . So the joke is that the very much alive Spirit of Sai has been allocated the Silver throne and His memory has been assigned the Golden one. The Spirit of Sai inside Madhu hasn't yet qualified itself for a golden throne. The current spirit gets the second best , the silver one. Or maybe they have not yet found a gullible donor who can bring the past and the present spirit to par ?All I can say is that there are more holes in their oneness story than the Croc slippers.
And just like the two thrones I also certainly wonder if the Spirit of Sai is inside Madhu all the time these days or like every other tale of theirs the Spirit of Sai too flip flops in and out of Madhu's body on a daily basis? Now with the proclamation of the new Gayatri, this question becomes even more pertinent: Is there a timing when Madhu is not possessed ? Maybe when he takes washroom breaks? What happens to the poor devotees who wish to chant at those times then? Do they revert back to the original Sai Gayatri so long as Madhu is non-possessed? Would Sai Vrinda publish the timing of possession and non-possession so that the humble devotee can choose the Gayatri appropriately? Or will they insist that Madhu is now Sadguru with or without Sai and is capable of blessing with or without Sai?
Yet another pertinent question I ask. Why does the spirit of Sai at Muddenahalli have such hatred towards Puttaparthi and its people? Why did He give us Sai Gayatri for a life time and invalidate it from Muddenahalli? The elderly, the invalids, life-long staff, the thousands still thronging to Puttaparthi who chant Sai Gayatri as a habit and Sadhana will like to know of their sins from the Spirit at Muddenahalli .
If the new Gayatri is true, then is a wrong Sai Gayatri being chanted at Sai's own place of birth, Mandir and place of Mahasamadhi? A Sumeet Tappoo with a short speech audaciously changes the Gayatri that has been chanted with love and in prayers million times by million hearts. An instrument of love, an offering by the devotees to the One who seeks only love.
Is this modified Gayatri a punishment from Him for those millions who refuse to recognize or comply with the charade put forward by Madhu and Narasimha Murthy? An invalid prayer given by an invalid entity? If it is the Spirit of Sai that is truly at Muddenahalli, this punishment shall be acknowledged duly; however if it is not and millions hold the conviction it is not, modifiers and violators need to become aware of the extraordinary powers of the Sai Gayatri that has been chanted and will be chanted with love and devotion at the Lotus Feet of our beloved Sai for generations to come. It is one of those things in life, those emotions that should never be tampered with carried away by utter vanity, stupidity or greed of humans.
That brings me to believe that what we've witnessed is the utter degradation of Our Guru on Gurupurnima day elsewhere. That the holy Spirit of Sai which is still powerful and the Sai Gayatri as valid as ever, is today being preached by them to be invalid without the association with the body of Madhu. Their announcement to the world of this modification of the Sai Gayatri in a pompous ceremony is a direct insinuation that Swami has been consigned to a mere footnote once and for all. Not that He wasn't consigned to the backyard already but just that any subtlety employed earlier to keep the gullible hooked seems to have completely vanished with this horrible act.
To get this low, I ask how many direct words of Swami have you overlooked ? How many of His clear cut instructions and pitfall have you circumnavigated? How much of His Love and Wisdom have you considered run of the mill affairs? There may be a long rope but even the long rope has an end. And so we are left with our final decision to choose, the final crossover. In between stands your love, respect and reverence of the most powerful of Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi's own Mantra, the Sai Gayatri.
Every God in our Hindu tradition has their own Gayatri. The Gayatri is verily the personification of the deity you are praying to. And rightfully a Gayatri of a deity has never been changed and has remained unaltered from time immemorial.
However the Sai Gayatri today has been altered without any respect to the blessings of Sai that this Mantra seeks to bestow. So I ask my brethren, will this also qualify with your terrific idea that Swami can do anything? Then I wish you the best of luck and tell those who will heed, choose wisely between Madhusudan Gayatri and Sai Gayatri because it could become the final choice.
This is The Devil. Proof? A Mantra approved by Swami for Himself and His Splendor, chanted by millions over the years in His Presence , in our Homes and Hearts has been robbed off the validity of the very word 'Sai'. Madhu the God will enlighten now not our Sai? The Devil has ousted God from His own Mantra. How powerful this Devil is ? Go figure!
And amidst all this din, I chuckle at the thought of Madhu's claims of having cracked open a door that Lord Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Ramakrishna, Ramana, Shirdi and Parthi Sai combined couldn't open. That too to let some strange fellas I know personally over there to climb the golden stairs while the rest of the ordinary humans were trying to go about our day. To think that some people nonchalantly exited a door and climbed the golden staircase of Super Consciousness at 9 a.m on Gurupurnima day while the rest of us were engulfed in mundane leaves me nonplussed . Life can be unfair!

Jai Sai Ram
Is God Madhu's butler at his beck and call?
"(They) have not only utterly and unconscionably degraded our Sai to the level of a lost soul when (they) say He exists in a subtle form in Muddenahalli; (they) have also completely disregarded His words that the subtle body disintegrates at death. And why? To instead accept the words of a mere human? Is God Madhu's butler at his beck and call? What kind of degradation and low profile have (they) given to our Lord?
Even saying that His mission is unfulfilled and that He needs to fulfill it by existing in disembodied state with Samskaras and Vasanas of Sathya Sai Swami is an extraordinary degradation and humiliation to the Avatar.
It also contradicts Swami's statement in 2006 that 'My mission is already accomplished. I’m only letting it unfold before your eyes.' (http://media.radiosai.org/sai_inspires/2006/SI_20060730.htm)"

OF MEN WHO WERE ONCE OF GOD, PIPE DREAMS THEY NOW SELL
AND THE HANDLE YOU and I HAVE TO TURN
BY CHIRAN BASNET

I feel like saying something but can't say what and how? When the love of my life - God is being ridiculed, mocked, impersonated and turned into a business model using the emotional and painful void left behind by His physical departure as an opportunity by the very people I call my own- erstwhile students, teachers & devotees - there is nothing more painful to witness in life.
But even if Madhusudan Naidu may impersonate 108 names of Sai, even if the backpackers may cover a million miles to and from Muddenahalli – Puttaparthi or make that annual trip to Ooty and Kodaikanal following Madhusudan Naidu’s tail till they die, remember deep within all of them are searching for that one thing – Sai’s sweet memory. The very sweet memory of His darshan: that of His beautiful smile, His touch, His word and if He didn’t come towards you, the bittersweet memories of sitting with folded hands with a throbbing expectant heart, hoping for the littlest gesture from Him, fervently praying for it and expectation for the next darshan if it didn’t happen in this one. It is hard to imagine that anyone would dare to put a price on these memories or sell them but that is precisely what Madhusudan Naidu and Muddenahalli are out to do, the recreation of those memories. That is what is being offered for sale by those who saw the opportunity to do so with His physical death and the vast number of grieving souls desperate for Him and His form.
But not all of Muddenahalli is pure business. Not at all. It is foremost the story of vengeance and hatred of C. Srinivas towards Puttaparthi and its people because Bhagavan Himself kicked him out of the post he was holding in Puttaparthi due to events many of us know very well and Muddenahalli is his sweet personal revenge on those of us.
Secondly, it is the pride and ego of Narasimha Murthy. He was an important man when Swamy was around even though I can count dozens who were more important than him both in the jobs and closeness with Swamy. But once Swamy left, what was Narasimha Murthy? Just a warden of Brindavan campus. Why would a Sunil Gavaskar, Tendulkar or other VIP pay their respects to his warden office like they did before and after darshan when Swamy was in Brindavan? They wouldn't even take a detour to Brindavan without Swamy being there. That’s when the megalomaniac ego of Murthy came into play and decided it wasn’t going to take any orders from the established chain of command from Puttaparthi as is the case with any well-defined organisation.
He wanted to be named trustee of Muddenahalli campus which had autonomous function and almost no interference from Puttaparthi. (I met him stepping out of his car when he came for that meeting. I didn't know at that time that he didn't just want the trustee post in Muddenahalli to retire in peace and sandhana.)
He wanted to overrule, distort and invalidate the very Loka Seva Trust deed which was placed at Swamy's feet. (I have had to see that deed many times due to my nature of work in office and you will not believe what kind of blasphemy and back-stabbing of Swamy has been committed by Narasimha Murthy when he changed that deed illegally.) But that wouldn’t be enough for his massive ego and he moved ruthlessly towards becoming the most important person. Therefore, Muddenahalli is verily the reflection of his blind and gigantic ego. He is the emperor that the likes of Sunil Gavaskar still find to be important.
Third is the extraordinary vanity of Mr. Tigrett and his wish to remain as famous as he ever was. I remember that evening with Mr. Tigrett in Puttaparthi swimming pool where he held me and my friend for over an hour while we were desperate to leave but had to wait for his hate-filled story to end. And towards who do you think his one hour of hatred was directed? It was towards Mr. C. Srinivas and how C. Srinivas was trying to ruin him. I have never heard such a hateful tirade against a single person, that too for over an hour. Today he and the demon that he described C. Srinivas was, are acting as best of buddies in public! Unbelievable!
But believe me one thing remains true. Personally, I am yet to see a sincere sadhaka like that of my erstwhile role-model and guru Sri Narasimha Murthy of the past. And for those who do not know the affairs of the offices of Puttaparthi, I will also confess that we are yet to see another genius and general of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust like that of C. Srinivas. The Bangalore Super Specialty hospital as well as all other important projects bear the stamp of his single-handed hard work, genius and determination without taking away from Swamy's Will which is ultimate.
Now it goes without saying that during my 3 decades stay here and in this organisation the personal contribution of Mr. Tigrett is perhaps unmatched. But today all these great men remain a prime example as to how powerful the devil is in its own right. I always believed that in everything good, bad or ugly both God and Devil exist. Each within their own sphere of influence, both waiting to overtake. With a single utterance of the name of Rama a bandit became Valmiki who gave us Ramayana. God holding His own corner pounced over the conscience ruled by the devil with a single chant, a word, a Ramanama.
Sadly, in these great men whose hearts were held by God, the devil held its own corner with its weapons of vengeance, ego and vanity. These men did nothing to annihilate it and then the devil pounced. The result is Madhusudan Naidu and Muddenahalli.
I won't bring someone as inferior as Madhusudan Naidu into this discussion because we all know he is nobody. The day he won't walk the line of these men, the very next day Madhusudan Naidu himself will have to announce that Swamy said he has served enough and that some other will be possessed. Though to Madhusudan Naidu’s credit, such a performance will be difficult to replace.
When Narasimha Murthy dreamt that Madhusudan Naidu will hear Swamy, he demanded Swamy's car from Puttaparthi. Now that Madhusudan Naidu has been anointed as Swamy, Narasimha Murthy will soon fill in demand for the Golden Chariot from Puttaparthi. Either way Madhusudan Naidu will sit on a Golden chariot someday and will have it pulled by those fools who have elevated him to Swamy's chair on His Birthday. And sadly Puttaparthi, the abode of Sai, is now for Muddenahalli devotees who have put Madhusudan Naidu on that golden chair a mere restaurant and lodge location overlooking some graveyard in nearby Prashanthi Nilayam.
Those gullible followers of Madhusudan Naidu and Muddenahalli who are now asked to delete and erase their own beautiful memories of Swamy and create or rather buy fresh experiences and memories with Madhusudan Naidu, Murthy and Muddenahalli should be aware that the same Narasimha Murthy lying on his bed at night most probably recollects memories of his interaction with Swamy in Brindavan, and Madhusudan Naidu memories of his interaction as a student in Brindavan and Puttaparthi, unless their lives of deceit have robbed them of those wonderful memories. My firm belief is that genuine memories, pure, unsullied and strong with the stamp of the divine remain true, evocative and recurring irrespective of the charade these men carry on otherwise. This is the tragedy of this circus!
Well, I have spent almost 27 years of life here out of my 42 years. 27 years in pretty decent proximity with Swamy and His seva (yet) I feel utterly naive and dejected at my own progress spiritually. Nor have I seen any much awareness amongst those who have been here 30, 40, 50 years or in His childhood physical associates for that matter. I feel you and I might have been present during the entire Avatarhood of Shirdi Sai, came along with Sathya Sai and with age on our sides may be pretty much around if Prema Sai came, but there isn’t and will be no concrete proof of an escalation of our spiritual progress. We might remain where we are if we don’t heed Swami’s lessons.
In these 27 years that is a vital lesson I'm beginning to learn for myself. The lesson is that you may have the door handle in your hand for your entire life, but the door won't open by your mere holding of the handle. The handle is there to be turned rightly. You may seem to own the door and have the strongest grip on the handle but that will be of no use. That handle may have been in your hands during Shirdi Sai, during Sathya Sai and may be even during Prema Sai but that doesn't automatically open the handle right and give you passage through the door.
Me, Madhu, Narasimha Murthy, C Srinivas and hundreds have held that handle, but we are still out cold not indoors. The handle in your hands is akin to the birds in the bushes. The vanity of proximity does nothing. It is just a pitiable state of affairs of being so close yet so far. Fact remains that Shirdi Sai didn't seem to open the doors nor did Sathya Sai. For that matter nor will Prema Sai. Sages have opened the door for themselves, many a bhakta opened for themselves and many a gyani are indoors already. But all we seem to achieve is to have the vanity and illusions of owning the door and holding the handle.
What Swamy did to me in His entire 85 years was to drill in my head the simple instructions to turn that handle I own. The Blessing of the Avatar is the easy availability of this handle. He will put food in your mouth, but you will have to chew. And so, the handle has to be turned by ourselves. The simple instructions are lying there in abundance and in as many simplified ways and spoon-fed steps. Even if Madhusudan Naidu is true and you may chase him, all you will get is the instructions that are already around. If Madhusudan Naidu declares himself as Prema Sai at the rate he is going and if it may be true, the instructions will remain the same.
Who are we to be ushered inside when the naked saint in cold Himalayan snow isn't blessed so. But some day the Saint will come get in and shut the door behind our face. We will still be holding the handles. Still Swamy won't open the door nor will Prema Sai.
Those who have been sold the pipe dream of special calling to subtle form and the imminent liberation on or during Prema Sai are simply walking away from the door that is so easily gifted and ready to be opened with Sai’s sweet, simple instructions. If we didn't find the instructions in and within His 85 years of Teachings, we probably didn't have inkling during Shirdi Sai time and will remain as naive during Prema Sai. Avatars will come and go.
Madhu, Muddenahalli and Murthy are simply selling you the wooden handle without any doors if they say 85 years of Sathya Sai wasn't enough. For those very eager and full of pride of being the chosen one in Madhusudan Naidu’s mission, why don't you pick up any Vahini or volume of Sathya Sai Speaks and try to live your life in accordance with a page therein? Just for a starter? Live life according to that page and turn the handle that He so generously gifted us with. That is the purpose of the Avatar. He takes you to the doorstep, instructs you and walks away. Some people walking away from that door in the opposite direction towards Madhusudan Naidu’s claim will probably have deserved it for the obvious suggestion that Sathya Sai wasn't good enough.
So, before you believe the Muddenahalli agenda that Prashanthi Nilayam is just a lodge, restaurant and burial place please pick up those pages from Vahinis and Sathya Sai Speaks. If practicing that sincerely doesn’t last your Madhusudan Naidu’s 10 years expected drama, then you are welcome to stand in front of this graveyard and complain to the body of Sathya Sai that His Avatarhood was an utter waste.
But sadly, you were never interested in those pages. If you had looked into them, Madhusudan Naidu wouldn't have influenced you. So, until then Puttaparthi isn't a graveyard that you Muddenahalli followers and Madhusudan Naidu seem to suggest. His wonderful 85 years aren't invalid until and unless you have lived His one Discourse, one Vahini page or one Sathya Sai Speaks page.
I pray you can retrieve your wonderful memories and beautiful faith in Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi again and say that those memories and faith alone are enough as sign of gratitude towards His 85 years of toil for you and me.
JAI SAI RAM.

BREAKING THE SUBTLE BODY

Published on 4 Mar 2018
BREAKING THE SUBTLE BODY (THE SUBTLE BODY, which constitutes Avidya or ignorance of the Real, is comparable to the HARD SHELL of the coconut.) Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Breaking Coconuts (Rare Delight.!!)
''The symbolism behind the offering of the coconut should be properly understood. Our body itself is like a coconut. The outer body made up of the three gunas is comparable to the fibrous covering of the coconut. It is the gross body. THE SUBTLE BODY, which constitutes Avidya or ignorance of the Real, is comparable to the HARD SHELL of the coconut. To remove the fibre of the physical body, you need Vairagya or detachment. THE SUBTLE BODY represents the mental process. To eliminate the limitations of this mental process, you have to engage yourself in good deeds and entertain good thoughts.
The significance of the breaking of the coconut is that man should get rid of the attachment to the physical body and purify the mind to realise the bliss represented by the SPIRIT WITHIN. Thus, to experience the bliss of the Divine, you have to get rid of the shell of sensory desires. To break the shell, you have to develop detachment towards the body (symbolised by the removal of the fibrous cover of the coconut). Vairagya (detachment) does not mean renouncing the world but experiencing the Divine in everything you do and giving up all evil tendencies.''

WHAT CHANGED GOD'S PAUPER NARASIMHAMURTHY
INTO THE DEVIL'S PUPPET?
God's Pauper: St. Francis of Assisi, a fictionalized biography by Nikos Kazantzakis was one of the most read books when I was a Brindavan student. The book portrays ‘the saint as a great lover and inspiring leader, who embraced radical poverty in the face of many obstacles and temptations'.
Our warden Narasimhamurthy Sir wore the badge of 'God's Pauper's' perfectly and he was highly inspirational when he often spoke on that theme. To me, he did tick all those qualities of St. Francis to a great extent by his personal life and sacrifices. No doubt there then, I was personally inspired by the book and BNM Sir's exemplary life and dedications as and when St. Francis was spoken of by him.
I have always felt that somewhere in the deep recesses of an evil person, God holds a fort, and in the hearts of Saints a devil does likewise -- both waiting for a chance to spring up and take over. BNM Sir is a classic proof of this theory to me.
How well do I know BNM Sir? I am sure my batch mates will say, ' Oh very well'. I have played over 100 rounds of table tennis game with him and few dozen Scrabble games too. He was very fond of me and it always gladdened my heart. A particular table tennis match with BNM Sir is the most frequently demanded story my batch mates want me to narrate. I did narrate the same this New Year (2017) too due to great demand and to a hearty laughter in the end.
If you are in sports, I assure you that you do know the good, bad and ugly of your regular opponent like the back of your hand, like nobody else. As a human being managing a large hostel, one is bound to make errors of judgment. BNM Sir has made some and I never hold it as personal. I have no doubt that he was a fine warden, good-hearted person and above all an illustrious sadhaka. Any suggestions of him driven by wealth or any remark towards his absolute brahmacharya will be a hilarious suggestion to me even today. Nope, chanceless.
What changed then? Why has this inspirational God's Pauper become bloody Switchblade to me today? Simple . . . His boundless Ego. Like the devil holding its fort on a Saint’s heart, the ego was a perennial trap of the devil in BNM Sir's deep recesses. Today we see the manifestation of that ego spring out like that of the blades of the Switchblade driven deep into the hearts and soul of the Sai mission, the mission of which he was once the most inspirational General. BNM Sir had that absolute hatred of losing and an unrelenting ego to be on the top of everything, be it in organisational position or a simple game of table tennis. This is the truth known to everyone that has ever had a round of games with him or worked with him. In fact one of the most valuable suggestions by our seniors when you join Brindavan will be like, ‘’Fellow, just let him win'.
This day would never have come if BNM Sir was obliged with whatever he desired to appease his unbound ego. On the other hand, It wouldn't have come either, if as a sadhaka, he would have handled the only fault on his otherwise exemplary life and personality.
As I sat along with my batch mates this new year (2017), a dozen of us over a cup of tea, someone casually asked, 'How many wish to go to Muddenahalli only to meet BNM Sir, if this fiasco wasn't around?' All hands were raised!

MADHUSUDAN NAIDU IS NOT THE REINCARNATION
OF SRI NARAYANA BHAT
(THE FOUNDER OF THE SATHYA SAI SCHOOL AT ALIKE)
BY TERRY REIS KENNEDY
Sri Narayana Bhat,
Founder of the Sathya Sai School at Alike
Founder of the Sathya Sai School at Alike
MISINFORMATION IS CURRENTLY CIRCULATING AMONG FOLLOWERS OF MUDDENAHALLI FRAUD
Chiran Basnet recently heard the rumor that Madhusudan Rao Naidu was Narayana Bhat in his previous incarnation. I asked Chiran to write about it. Instead, he told me I could share his reaction to this news publicly.
Chiran wrote, “I was a student of Loka Seva Trust, Alike. Then I joined Brindavan and PN campus. After that, I worked in ashram under Swamy for over a decade. Anna (Sri Narayana Bhat) is as much as Swamy to me.
“I beg people not to insult the memory of Sri Anna by even a thought of rebirth and that too as clumsy a rebirth as Madhusudhan Naidu. Sorry for harsh words, but that comparison in connection between Anna and Madhusudhan was absolutely humiliating, disgusting and heart-breaking to me. Sorry.”
When Chiran heard the information about Madhusudan being the saintly Sri Narayana Bhat reborn, his emotions swelled up inside him—hurt, sorrow, anger, a sense of wanting to do something to stop what he felt was a lie. He broke his vow of silence, a vow he had made to himself to not mix up with reports about Muddenahalli anymore.
Due to his angst over the split between Puttaparthi and the stolen properties of Muddenahalli that belong to the SSS Central Trust, he had decided to keep silent. But yesterday, the truth in Chiran’s heart just leapt out of him. He noted, “I couldn't take it. It's maybe over a year I have shown any interest towards MDH including in social media. I have nothing more to say.
In our parts there is a saying: "When a buffalo is about fall from a cliff, all you can do is say 'Rama Rama' from afar; you cannot catch it lest you may fall down with it!"
I have done and am doing enough of 'Rama Rama' from afar. Today I just couldn't take that theory on our revered Anna; absolutely cra.. (untrue), thoroughly pathetic. I said what I said for love of Anna.”
Well, it turns out Chiran has no need to feel badly. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba assured Sri Narayana Bhat's mother that her son had merged instantaneously with Baba at the time of his death by car accident. Consequently, he would not be taking birth again.
Here is the dialogue between the bereaved mother and the Poorna Avatar, Shiva Shakti Swarupula Himself:
Mother to Swami: Swami, all these days Narayana used to look after the school. Now what will happen? Who will look after the school?
Swami: Amma, all these days Narayana alone was looking after the school; now Sai Narayana will look after the school. Remember, this is about 10 days after Swami said to Narayana, "Your work is over; now you can go!" Such is the deep and inner meaning of Swami's word!
Mother: Swami, everyone in the village knew that Narayana regarded you as God. Now if they know that Narayana has died, what will they say? They will talk bad about You.
Swami: Tell them Narayana has gone to Puttaparthy. Tell them he is with Swami now.
Mother: Swami, but surely you could have saved him. You could have prevented his death.
Swami: Amma, for one moment I considered that also. (Swami said this in Kannada putting His index finger and thumb together to indicate what happened that instant when the accident took place.) At that moment, I heard two voices - one was your voice saying, "Swami, please save my son", and the other voice was your son's pleading to Him, "Swami, I have had enough of this world; please take me into You." And in the end, I decided to listen to him. Remember that telegram Swami sent shortly after the death: "Narayana Bhat has eternally merged in Me!"
Mother: But Swami, why did he have to die such a death - an untimely death at the young age of 49, a very healthy and dynamic person, dying such a violent death - in an accident. Why did he have to die like that?
Swami: Amma, tell me, where was Lord Krishna born? In a jail. Where did he die? In the middle of a forest to the arrow of a hunter. Was that not a violent death? Where was Jesus Christ born? In a horse stable. How did he die? Crucified by nails driven in his body. Was that not a violent death? How did Mahatma Gandhi die? To the bullets from a gun. Was that not a violent death? God does not look at the birth or the death. He is only concerned with what you do in between the period from birth to death. If I want to call somebody from the crowd, I needn't go myself, It is enough I send a messenger. Similarly, if God is in need of somebody, he will get him through any of his 'Agents'.
Mother: Swami, with his passing away, hundreds of his disciples who have dedicated their lives become orphans. Who is to guide them?
Swami: No need to worry, nobody should leave the institution for this reason. Hundreds of people will join the Mission in the days to come. (That was in about 1976.)
Jai Sai Ram.
