TRUTH VS LIES
Madhusudan seeks to replace Sathya Sai with himself
On Sathya Sai Baba's birthday in 2018, Madhusudan Naidu had Sumeet Tappoo make an announcement, which he had dictated to Sumeet while they were backstage. The announcement was meant to convey to Madhusudan's followers that there is no difference between him and Sathya Sai Baba. While this announcement was being made, Madhusudan stood there, his eyes wide with fear, breathing so heavily that it looked like he was hyperventilating.
Despite initially claiming that the whole subtle body drama was to fulfill Swami's prophecy that He would live until age 96, Madhusudan also made Sumeet announce that Sathya Sai Baba's ghost will now live on in Madhusudan for the next ten years.
However, Madhusudan's claim and the fact that he sat in Swami's chair wasn't well received by his followers around the world. Instead, it caused a lot of confusion. Madhusudan and his puppet master Narasimhamurthy therefore had to think of another way in which to convince their followers that Madhusudan is now the one they should worship, not Sathya Sai.
Why? Because Madhusudan's goal has always been to replace Sathya Sai Baba with himself as the object of worship. Thus, Madhusudan waited until Guru Purnima 2019 and announced that he had attained Self-Realisation while sitting on the stage in front of his followers. He also had Sumeet announce that Madhusudan is his guru and guide. But, not content with proclaiming that he is Self-Realised, Madhusudan has also rebranded himself as ‘Madhusudan Sai,' thus effectively replacing Sathya Sai with himself in the eyes of his followers. This is what he has been working towards right from the start.
On 28 July 2019, Narasimhamurthy read out a note written by 'Madhusudan Sai.' The note claimed that the 'pragya' or consciousness of Sathya Sai is now manifesting in Madhusudan and that he is therefore 'Madhusudan Sai.' He also claimed that the 'pragya' or consciousness of Shirdi Sai had manifested in the body of Sathyanarayana Raju, as if Shirdi Sai was some kind of spirit that possessed him. Narasimhamurthy was also careful to proclaim in his talk that Madhusudan is no more and so should not be called 'brother Madhusudan,' as he is now 'Madhusudan Sai.'
Why the emphasis on this point? Because he and Narasimhamurthy are desperately trying to sell Madhusudan's latest 'upgrade' to their followers. While there are a vocal few who have lapped up this latest lie, the reaction from the great majority seems to be the same as last time Madhusudan tried to usurp Swami's position - confusion.

Contradiction and confusion
The confusion among Madhusudan's followers is understandable. Because his claims here contradict things that Sathya Sai Baba clarified many decades ago.
Madhusudan's claim is that the 'pragya,' or consciousness, of Sathya Sai manifests in him in the same way that the 'pragya,' or consciousness, of Shirdi Sai manifested in Sathyanarayana Raju. This suggests that Madhusudan believes that the child Sathyanarayana Raju was just a normal human being, who was 'possessed' by the consciousness of Shirdi Sai Baba. But is this what Sathya Sai Baba said about Himself? The answer is, of course, a resounding 'No.'
Madhusudan's claim is simply an old misconception, which dates back to the time when Swami announced Himself as the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai. This decades’ old misconception is now being peddled as truth by Madhusudan, in order to legitimise his claims that he is now possessed by Sathya Sai Baba and thus garner the adulation and worship that he has always craved.

The Truth about Madhusudan's Misleading Misconception
Madhusudan's claim is exactly the same mistaken idea that was spread about Sathya Sai Baba when He first declared Himself as the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba at the age of thirteen. The villagers of Puttaparthi claimed that Sathyanarayana Raju just was a normal village boy who was possessed by the spirit of Shirdi Sai Baba. However, Sathya Sai Baba Himself said that their claim, which is essentially the same claim Madhusudan Naidu now makes about himself, was a misconception:
Sathya revived in a day or two, and then began to behave in an extraordinary manner. This was sometimes explained as "a complete transformation of the personality - the occupation of Sathya's physical frame by Sai Baba of Shirdi."
Nothing could be further from the truth. Sai Baba has said that He Himself initiated the process of manifestation, for he could not wait any longer playing about as a mere boy with "brother," "sister," "classmates," and other secular bonds. He wanted to demonstrate that he was unaffected by poison or the poisonous objective world.
SSSun Vol 1, p.46, http://vahini.org/sss/i/serpent.html
Shirdi Sai Baba's consciousness didn't 'possess' Sathyanarayana Raju as Madhusudan claims. Sathyanarayana Raju was the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba, not someone who was possessed by Shirdi Sai's consciousness. Nor is Madhusudan someone who has been 'possessed' by the consciousness of Sathya Sai. Sathya Sai's consciousness is God - the Consciousness that manifested as the entire universe! Sathya Sai is not just a personality who had a body five feet two inches high, spoke in Telugu, who waved His hand in a certain way, was born in a certain place and also left His body. Swami never thought of Himself that way! Madhusudan makes this claim only due to his limited understanding of Baba.
In fact Baba said:

The only reason Madhusudan is making this false claim about Swami being possessed by the consciousness of Shirdi Sai, is because he is attempting to justify his own claim to now be 'possessed' by Sathya Sai.
In the below discourse, Baba also clearly states that He is Sai in reality, not that He had been possessed by Shirdi Sai:

So who are we to believe? Sathya Sai Baba or Madhusudan Naidu? Certainly, there is a small percentage of former Sai devotees who now place their faith in Madhusudan Naidu, rather than in Baba. Yet, the fact is that Madhusudan Naidu has been consistently making claims which contradict Swami's teachings for the last eight years. Below are just small selections of those many contradictory claims.
Madhu Lie # 1: The 'subtle body'
The foundation of Madhusudan's false claims is that Sathya Sai Baba exists now as a subtle body, as if Swami is some kind of ghost. However Sathya Sai Baba said that when He left His body, He would return to His True Nature as the Eternal Atma, not linger on as a ghost or subtle body:
The physical vestures last for a particular period and then cease to exist. Divinity takes different forms later. For example, you are now attached to this physical body. You worship this body and derive great satisfaction and bliss thereby. But, after sometime, this body may disappear like the earlier Avatars. Then you should not feel sad. When the divine Atma embodied in this physical body reaches its eternal abode, it is a matter of joy, not sorrow.

A video of Baba saying this can be found at the following link. The relevant section is at 2 min 35 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_o2lsrnN0o
The direct translation given from Baba's Telugu words in this video is "When the Divinity attains its True Nature, you should be happy instead of being sad". Later in the discourse Baba also said that we should not be attached to the physical form of the Avatar:
You should not be attached to the physical form of a particular Avatar; rather you should be attached to Divinity as the formless, attributeless Supreme Self (Parabrahma), which manifested as different Avatars in different ages.
SSS 42.5: 23 February 2009,
http://www.sssbpt.info/ssspeaks/volume42/sss42-05.pdf
In contradiction to what Swami Himself said, Madhusudan now seeks to bind his followers to attachment to two forms - his claimed 'subtle body' version of Swami, and his own form as 'Madhusudan Sai.'
It is well known to all Sai devotees that Swami asked us to transcend our attachment to His form, as He stated above. He asked us time and again to 'go within,' to seek to attach to the formless Self, rather than His form or any form. Why then would He contradict Himself and seek to create attachment to a subtle invisible form of Himself, as well as to Madhusudan's form?
The simple truth is that He didn't. There is no subtle body, as per Swami's own words. There is only a lie, created to take advantage of grief-stricken Sai devotees. Here is where the lie comes apart.
Madhusudan claims that Sathya Sai Baba exists in a subtle body. Sathya Sai Baba did confirm that all beings assume a gross, subtle and causal body when they incarnate. This includes Avatars:
Every living being comprises three aspects: sthula, sukshma, and karana (gross, subtle, and causal).
SSS 37.24: 19 October 2004, http://www.sssbpt.info/ssspeaks/volume37/d041019.pdf
However, Baba said that the subtle body disintegrates upon death:
Hislop: Does man have three bodies?
Sai: Yes. Body, Mind and Soul. Physical body, subtle body and causal body. On death, the physical and subtle bodies disintegrate, but the causal body remains.
CWBSSSB p.79, or http://media.radiosai.org/journals/Vol_04/01MAR06/conversation.htm
Madhusudan's claim that he communicates with Sathya Sai Baba's subtle body after death is therefore untrue, since Baba tells us that the subtle body disintegrates on the death of the physical body. Only the causal body remains.
Sathya Sai Baba further confirmed that it is the causal body which survives after death, during His discourses at Dasara in 1984. Dr Charanjit Ghooi recalls:
In 1984 there was a very sorrowful incident in Bangalore in which about 364 persons died due to liquor that was poisonous. The next day during Dussehra puja, I was sitting in Poornachandra hall, of Prasanthi Nilayam. In his deliberations that day, Swami spoke on the astral world and the Karana Sharira (Causal Body). Swami said "Those who die in pubs due to drinking poisonous liquor have their karana shariras float in the air around the pubs."
Swami's teachings about Virtuous Children, p. 31
Since Madhusudan's claim that Sathya Sai exists in a subtle form contradicts what Baba Himself said, it is therefore a lie.

madhu Lie #2:
Sathya Sai Baba's subtle form lives in Muddenahalli
He also claims that Sathya Sai Baba has left Puttaparthi and moved to Muddenahalli. However it was quickly pointed out that Sathya Sai Baba said on multiple occasions that He would never leave Puttaparthi:
That night, mother Easwaramma came to Me with tears in her eyes and said, "Swami, people want to take You here and there for their selfish purposes. If you leave Puttaparthi, I will give up My life. Please promise me that You will remain in Puttaparthi forever." I gave her My word that I would never leave Puttaparthi. Baba even went as far as to say that He must stay in Puttaparthi and has not given up the place of his birth as it is in Puttaparthi alone that His mighty tasks need to be accomplished:
A few decades ago, some people invited Me to shift to bigger cities like Mysore, saying that they would provide a big palace for Me. But, as for Me, I don't need palaces. I must stay in this small village. I have not given up My place of birth. In such place alone, mighty tasks need to be accomplished. Sathya Sai Baba very clearly reiterated His statement about never leaving Puttaparthi in another discourse in 2003:
Easwaramma and Venkamma entreated that I should not forsake Puttaparthi. I promised them that I would never abandon Puttaparthi...After I had promised Easwaramma, I never abandoned Puttaparthi. The whole world may flock here but I shall not leave Puttaparthi. Generally, the Avatars adhere to their place of birth. If you uproot a plant from here and plant it elsewhere, how long will it survive? A tree should grow where the seed sprouted. In this manner, Sathya Sai Baba has retained his roots in Puttaparthi and has made Puttaparthi a place of pilgrimage.

SATHYA SAI BABA WAS FORCED TO LEAVE HIS BODY
EARLIER THAN HE WANTED BECAUSE OF ILLNESS
According to Madhusudan, Sathya Sai Baba was forced by ill health to leave His body much sooner than He wanted to. Yet Sathya Sai Baba said that He had pre-planned and willed everything that would happen in this Avatar:
Every step in the career of the Avatar is predetermined.

Before he sets to work on the garland He would decide what flowers to pick and whence. Likewise, if an Avatar is to take place, all the details of its human history are charted out beforehand. Before a drama is put on board, isn't the whole story written by the play-wright? Even so, the course of the Avatar is conceived by the Supreme Power.
Sathya Sai Baba quoted in Baba: Satya Sai, Part 1, p.15
This task will succeed; it will not be impeded by any obstacle. It will not be limited or slowed. When the Lord decides and wills, His Sankalpa (Resolve) cannot be hindered...

This Body has come through Divine Sankalpa (the Lord's Resolve), to come. That resolve is intended to uphold Sathya. Bhagavath-sankalpa (God's resolve) is always Sathya-sankalpa (resolve that comes true).
SSS 4.49: 17 December 1964, http://www.sssbpt.info/ssspeaks/volume04/sss04-49.pdf
Baba is not so frail, foolish or fallible as Madhusudan portrays Him. He Himself said that He had planned very step in His Avatar and that whatever He willed comes true. Madhusudan's claim is once again therefore, a lie.
madhu Lie #4:
The subtle body was necessary for Baba to complete His mission
Madhusudan's whole justification for the 'subtle body' lie was that Swami would live in His subtle body in Muddenahalli until He was 96, to finish His unfinished' mission. This would also fulfill Baba's own prophecy that He would live until the age of 96. He therefore claimed that Sathya Sai Baba only completed 20% of His mission as Sathya Sai Baba, leaving Madhusudan to complete 80% of Baba's mission. Thus, with this claim, Madhusudan seeks to make himself more important than Swami Himself in the eyes of his followers.
However this completely contradicts Baba Himself. Swami said that Avatars never leave their bodies until they have completed their missions:
Even Avathaars (Divine Incarnations) cast off the physical form when the task for which they have come is over.
SSS 7.7: 9 March 1967, http://www.sssbpt.info/ssspeaks/volume07/sss07-07.pdf
My Body, like all other bodies, is a temporary habitation; but My power is eternal, all pervasive, everlasting! This body has been assumed, to serve a purpose: the establishment of Dharma and the teaching of Dharma. When that purpose is over, this Body will disappear, like the bubble on the waters.
SSS 10.39: 25 December 1970, http://www.sssbpt.info/ssspeaks/volume10/sss10-39.pdf
The Avatars of Rama, Krishna, etc., may be different in names and forms; but the Atma Principle in them is only one. They all lived in their human vestures till the completion of their Avataric mission, and once their task was completed, they disappeared.
SSS 42.4: 21 February 2009, http://www.sssbpt.info/ssspeaks/volume42/sss42-04.pdf
Not only did Swami make it very clear that He would only leave His body after completing His mission, Swami said in 2006 that His mission was already complete:
My mission is already accomplished. I'm only letting it unfold before your eyes.
Sathya Sai Baba, quoted on http://media.radiosai.org/sai_inspires/2006/SI_20060730.htm
Since His mission was completed before He left the body, there is no need for a 'subtle body' to complete His mission. Madhusudan's claim, according to what Baba Himself said, is therefore a lie.
However this completely contradicts Baba Himself. Swami said that Avatars never leave their bodies until they have completed their missions:

Many Other Lies Told by Madhu
There are many other lies which Madhusudan has told in order to pry devotees away from Baba and into his grasp:
If we call ourselves Sai devotees, then shouldn't we place our faith in Baba Himself, who said?
“I never speak through another. I never use another or possess another physical vehicle to express Myself. I am not a ghost or spirit to do so, to need some medium. I come direct, I speak direct, I come as I am or as I will to come in fresh created Forms. I do not use weak vacillating human vehicles; I confer boons straight and without any intermediary.”
At Yelamanchili, He said:
"Persons who claim to be possessed by Me have appeared recently; order them out, wherever you meet them. Do not yield to such morons and fakes, and lower your own dignity as devotees."
Devotees of Baba are advised by Him to be ever vigilant against the subtle pulls of the sinister and the secret:
“When the Avathar has come and is so accessible and free with Grace, it is sheer stupidity to say the least to lionize the diseased and the deliberate crooks.”
SSSun Vol 2, p.202, http://www.vahini.org/downloads/sathyamsivamsundaram-II.html
There are others who claim that I am speaking through them, and answering questions put to them. These people must be either insane or hysteria-affected or they are possessed by some ghost or by the greed to earn money thereby. I can only tell you that it is not I that speaks through them. I do not need media; nor do I need substitutes or subsidiaries or representatives.

In the name of Swami, there are some people who collect money saying that Swami has possessed them, speaks through them and that He has given power to them. There cannot be more demonic acts than this. Neither I enter anybody nor do I tell anyone to act on behalf of me.

Do not believe in mesmerism (nb: spiritualism, mediums). Do not try to learn it or practice it. What you see then are evil spirits.God is not that easily attainable. God, who is a form of satvaguna (purity), will never enter into these lowly things and talk. Man is seven steps below God. Evil spirits are six steps below God. God's aura falls on all these steps. Evil spirits have slightly greater strength than man. With this extra strength, they have the power to masquerade themselves as Gods. (Do not get cheated by these spirits. Beware!).

What those who follow Madhusudan have to consider is this: Will they place their faith in Sathya Sai Baba and the truth He spoke, or will they choose to place their faith in Madhusudan Naidu and the lies he speaks?
Sathya Sai said that everything He spoke is Truth. Madhusudan has proved through his multiple contradictions of Baba's own words that what he is claiming is a lie.
We follow Swami to find the Truth. And the truth is that no one ever found the Truth by following a lie.
- Madhusudan also claims that the sacred life and teachings of Sathya Sai Baba, the Avatar of the Age, were only primary school level spirituality, proclaiming that he teaches high school level spirituality.
- He says that only those who follow him will know the full truth about Sathya Sai Baba, while those who don't believe in him will only ever know half of the truth.
- He flatters his followers, telling them that they are higher, purer and more evolved than other devotees, that they are the chosen few who are fortunate to follow him.
- He targets the egos of the rich by claiming that were it not for the donations of rich devotees, Sathya Sai Baba's mission would have ended long, long ago.
- The latest in this long list of lies is that Madhusudan now claims that he is essentially 'possessed' by Sathya Sai Baba, as if Baba is some kind of ghost or evil spirit, rather than the omnipresent God.
If we call ourselves Sai devotees, then shouldn't we place our faith in Baba Himself, who said?
