WHOM DO YOU PLACE YOUR TRUST IN?
DON'T POLLUTE THE SACRED SADHANA OF SERVICE!
This truly is one of the most brilliant exposes of Muddenahalli I've ever seen. It gives the true perspective on what Muddenahalli really is and every devotee in the world should read it.
One of the most important points that Karuna Munshi makes, is that Muddenahalli's projects are done as a competition against Swami's mission, not in unity with His mission. This alone should be enough to prove to any discerning devotee that Muddenahalli and it's agenda is not from Swami. Why would Swami need to compete with Himself or denigrate His own mission as Madhusudan claims He does?
The more important question here is 'What will be the result for those who join in with Muddenahalli's divisive agenda and the competitive service projects they use to try to hijack Swami's devotees away from Him?' Swami Himself said that service done out of competitive urges actually pollutes the sacred sadhana of service itself. If it pollutes the sadhana, it will also pollute those who participate. They hope for liberation or Grace, but what they will receive is only pollution and bondage:

All acts of service are not equally sanctifying or uniform in the benefits they confer. When service is undertaken by power-hungry people, or under compulsion or by imitative urges, it results in more harm than good. Self-aggrandizement or competition or ostentation are motives that will pollute the sacred Sadhana of Service. The candidate for this Sadhana has to avoid Ahamkara (egotism), Adambara (exhibitionism) and Abhimana (favouritism).

"yOUR ACTIVITIES SHOULD NOT BE ON THE LINES OF POLITICAL ACTIVITIES"
Muddenahalli arose out of politics and the desire of a few for power. The result has been separatism and a disruption of the unity which Swami spent His entire life building among devotees. What did Swami say about such politically motivated activities?
Your activities should not be on the lines of political activities. By associating with various types of people, this turns into a political activity. I am not happy with that. Do come together for bhajans wherever you are. But do not allow separatism. All should be united.

"THEY CRAVE ONLY THE OUTER SHELL OF FAME AND FORTUNE"
Muddenahalli attempt to fool the public by using Swami's Name, so that the public will think that they are legitimately part of Swami's mission. But Swami warned us about such people and their real motivations:
Talking of names, let me mention this too. Some persons who do not care for truth or righteousness might adopt the name Sathya Sai, raise institutions in that name; they crave only the outer shell of fame and fortune; but you must know that they are unconnected with Me and are engaged in acts which I have not authorised.

"DO NOT POLLUTE YOUR SERVICE WITH THE POISON OF PRIDE."
Swami taught us that the purpose of service is to remove our ego and that service must be silent and selfless in order for this to happen. But, whenever Muddenahalli proposes, initiates or completes a service project, they advertise it as loudly as possible, through any means possible - the media, social media, their publications and websites. This is the exact opposite of what Swami told us to do.
For service to be beneficial, it must selfless service, Nishkama karma, as this selflessness helps to decrease our ego. Service done with the wrong motivation does not help us spiritually. In fact the pride generated by such pseudo service activities was described by Swami as a poison which harms us and pollutes our service. Muddenahalli claim that their service is done for Swami. But if service is done with ostentation and the desire for name and fame, then how can it be a selfless offering to Swami?

Nishkama karma, or selfless service, is the fragrant flower of altruistic love. It is not to be performed for the satisfaction of the person rendering the service or the person at whose bidding it is done. Man should regard nishkama karma as the purpose for which he is given life. This feeling should flow through his very nerves and bloodstream and permeate every cell of his body. Whatever be the work we do, we should do it as an offering to God and for His pleasure.

Arjuna! Every deed or activity has a beginning and an end. But Nishkama Karma (desireless karma) has no such. That is the difference between the two. When action is done with a view to the gain therefrom, one has to suffer the loss, the pain, and even the punishment. But desireless action frees you from all these. “Desire the fruits of action, and get born again and again, caught up in that desire. Give up that desire, and you are liberated from the flux. The practice of this type of renunciation ends the state of bondage.

God’s grace will come when sevā (selfless service) is done without expectation of reward or recognition. Sometimes ahaṃkāra (egoism) and abhimāna (false pride) rear their heads during sevā. These should be eliminated altogether.

Our attitude during a service activity determines whether or not the service helps us grow spiritually. Service performed with a sense of pride or superiority may help the person we are serving, but it does not help us. Do not pollute your service with the poison of pride.

There are many who come forward when there is a call for social service; but, most of them crave for publicity, seeking cameramen whenever they help others and very disappointed when they are not mentioned in newspapers! Such men push themselves forward, and climb into positions of authority, just to parade their importance before the public. They forget that service is worship, that each act of service is a flower placed at the feet of the Lord, and that, if the act is tainted with ego, it is as if the flower is infested with slimy insect pests! Who will contaminate the feet with such foul offering?

THE IMITATORS
Swami also seemed to predict exactly what Muddenahalli would be like. He talked about the selfless service done by His organisation and then gave a list of things that imitators would have to do in order to achieve the same thing. Incredibly, every one of these actions is evident in Muddenahalli's imitation of Swami's service. He said:
1) They would make a huge noise about their service activities.
2) They would travel around with a list of likely donors in order to raise money, just as Muddenahalli did when it was being established.
3) They would boast of their achievements, which we can see Muddenahalli doing through every means possible to them - through the media, social media, their publications and websites, through their world tours and through the proxies they send around the world to talk about their service projects and raise money for them.
Here is what Swami said about what such imitators would try to do, long before Muddenahalli arose:

If all this arrangement is done somewhere else, what a great noise it would have made! People would have scoured the land with lists of likely donors, worried this person and that, and finally boasted of their achievements. But here [at Prasanthi Nilayam], only just a few know about this. It was all a case of the Will Power (Sankalpa) working itself by the force of its own goodness.

"HOW THEN CAN ANYONE BELIEVE IT, I WONDER"
All of the information we need to discern that Muddenahalli is a harmful imitation is already in His teachings. As Karuna Munshi pointed out, Swami has already given us everything we need. His teachings are pure Sanathana Dharma, the Eternal Dharma. How then can any devotee believe Madhusudan's lie that Swami's eternal teachings have already expired and are now being replaced by what he says? How can they allow themselves to be fooled by clever marketing, imitative behaviour and claims that Madhusudan is now possessed by Swami? As Swami said:
…Even those who cry in pure agonising yearning, Sai, Sai, Sai, and lead pure unselfish virtuous lives, even these find it hard to realise Me; how then can these low scheming vulgar men who know no saadhana, sincerity, truth and humility, how can these people claim that they have been blessed by me? They may wear the same style of dress, imitate gestures and style of speech but these will only bring their falsehood into greater prominence. That I am supposed to "possess" such people or speak through them or shower My Grace on them is an assumption of which one ought to be ashamed! How then can anyone believe it, I wonder.

"I COME DIRECT, I SPEAK DIRECT, I COME AS I AM..."
To all those who have chosen to place your faith in Madhusudan: Before giving your trust to an imitator who asks his followers for money, who advertises his service and claims to be possessed by Swami, first consider the truths taught by the one He imitates.
Because that One, Sathya Sai Baba, never asked for money, He only asked for love. He did not advertise His selfless service projects and He taught that we shouldn't do this either, because doing this would harm us and pollute the sadhana of service itself. And He said that He would never possess anyone or use anyone as an intermediary, because He said had no need to stoop so low as possessing someone, as if He were some kind of an evil spirit.

I never speak through another. I never use another or possess another physical vehicle to express Myself. I am not a ghost or spirit to do so, to need some medium. I come direct, I speak direct, I come as I am or as I will to come in fresh created Forms. I do not use weak vacillating human vehicles; I confer boons straight and without any intermediary".

THE OMNIPOTENT ONE IS ALREADY IN YOUR HEART
The Omnipotent One who is already in your heart can communicate with you without the need for any imitator or intermediary. We have all experienced this in one way or another.
So ask yourself, whom will you choose to place your trust in? Sathya Sai Baba Himself, or an imitator who seeks to falsify His teachings by claiming that Swami now goes against the things He taught consistently throughout His entire life?
